Silvan Oesterle will speak at the SIMAE conference at the "The School of Architecture" (EsArq) of the "Universitat Internacional de Catalunya" (UIC), Barcelona on the 9th April, 2008. The lecture will present teaching and research projects from the Professorship for Architecture and Digital Fabrication, ETH Zurich. Other speakers include Neil Leach (University of Brighton), Evan Douglis and Mike Weinstock (Architectural Association). The Symposium will consist of three sessions. The first - directed by Jordi Truco and Ignasi Perez Arnal and moderated by Mike Weinstock - shall address materials; the second - led by Pau de Solá-Morales - will address systems, and the third - directed by Evan Douglis - will discuss digital technologies.
